Another two day before last minute reservation. I was told that there weren’t any window/or near window seats, but lucky things happened on the day that I arrived. We actually got seated in a better seats than we expected. The Café Gray Deluxe located on 49 floor of Upper House, so it has a view of the another side. Pardon my bad photographing skills, but on the slightly right angle, we could actually see skyline of Kowloon.
First high tea back in Hong Kong, pretty much a last minute decision. Well, it was a bit foggy that day, so wasn’t a big pity we didn’t get to sit near the window side. I would definitely return just for the view and the fab ambiance. A side of the menu also provides a short history of Afternoon tea : It actually comes from 17th century, in honor of Queen Catherine making “tea” a fashionable drinks in courtiers.
