Currently I am loving this concealer from Tarte. The compact packaging is perfect for traveling. It only comes in 2 shades- medium light, medium tan, but I find the medium-tan works really well covering my dark circles. Unlike my old concealer that dries quickly, the rich yet silky texture makes it easy to apply and blend flawlessly. Despite the name of the product, I use it as a regular concealer on spots that need coverage.
I must say this isn’t moisturizing enough to be solely used as your day cream in winter, so I use my Durance lavender day cream before this. However, it works amazingly as a tinted moisturizer with high UV protection. I like how it brightens up my skin and evens out the uneven skin tone. It’s also infused with argan oil which makes it extra nourishing. Absolutely love!
3. Nars: Velvet Matte Lip Pencil- Sex Machine
Whether it’s their velvet matte or stain, Nars’ lip pencils are just so maj! Usually I like to go with prune or bordeaux lip colors for winter, but for this winter I want to change up a little and go with a softer but yet still definite lip color, thus I went with Nars’ lip pencils. Sex Machine is currently my winter favorite as it is luscious yet not over powering. I also like how it is velvety and matte but doesn’t feel dry, which looks great on defined lips like mine. If you are more prone to chipped lips, then go with their satin lip pencils.
