  1. R.Nichols Candles: Breathe and Trees

I am a big fan of scented candles. I came across R. Nichols at Chelsea Market here in NYC. I immediately fell in love with their glass design and their lavender scent which is the “Breathe” (lavender is always the first I go for when trying out a new candle brand.) Another one I got is called “Treehouse,” the scent is quite magical, it kind of reminds me of forest.

 2. Privé Concept Vert Shampoo and Conditioner

Recently, I have been choosing the beauty and hair products I use more consciously. I’ve been using Privé’s concept vert shampoo and conditioner on and off for about a year now without knowing they are eco-conscious, cruelty-free, and does not contain paraben and sulfate (how wonderful?). This specific line is my favorite shampoo and conditioner duo this fall and winter because my hair tends to get tangled in dry weather, and they not only can detangle my hair, it is also extremely moisturizing and color safe.

    3. Le Creuset Cast-Iron Rectangular Skinny Grills

This is definitely my #1 housewife’s little helper. I’ve gotten it for a couple of months now, lately I have been using it almost on a daily basis. It is just so versatile, you can use it on the stovetop and in the oven. Some of my favorite dishes are baked potatoes, sweet potato cubes, and grill the steak on the stovetop for 1 min on each side then put it into the oven (350 F) for 15 mins for a perfectly tender taste. I also love the fact that it is so easy to clean!

     4. Sultra The Bombshell 1 Inch

I’ve always love a fuller wavy hair look in winter. I purchased this hair curler years ago, but there was a time when I was living in a tropical weather place where I just couldn’t be bother to curl my hair coz the humidity in the air would just wear the hair down. Now that I don’t have the humidity problem I like to curl my hair more, especially as winter is approaching. This curler heats up so fast and it is just easy to use. I can literally curl my hair in 10-15 mins depending on how much volume I want. It is also light-weight so it’s perfect for traveling.
