I hope your week is going well so far! I am currently enjoying my last bit of summer at this beautiful resort in Phuket, the biggest island in Thailand. It’s been a struggle between eating delicious food and staying slim. The food here at Point Yamu by Como is just heavenly! The COMO brand itself promotes a sustainable and healthy living. Even though I’m on vacation but I am doing my best to stay in shape. I have been doing so well since I moved back to New York in April. I was cooking healthy recipes, working out (aka walking 50+ blocks from UES,) and just in general eating less than I used to and living a healthy lifestyle.
THE FOOD THO! I am impressed with the breakfast at the resort. From the hot food menu to the buffet… I mean I’ve never come a cross such a refined and plentiful selection. In combination with the quiet and calm vibe at the resort, it is easy for one to slack off on work out regimen. Fortunately, there are a ton of free and paid activities that one could do while staying here. The activities I’ve done so far at the resort beside swimming are yoga, spa, bike tour, snorkeling, and gym sessions. Snorkeling was so incredible. The tropical fish, the long tail boat ride, the whole experience was unforgettable. One down side was the sea sickness that I got while on the boat. Next time I will make sure I take some remedies for sea sickness before boarding. Overall, it’s been a relaxing and adventurous stay with a lot of self-reflection time. Life is good!
